During Ramadan, good deeds such as fasting, quran recitation and given sadaqah or zakat are rewarded more than at any other time of the year.
Ending Hunger Together
Muslims are encouraged to give charity and help those less fortunate throughout the year, especially during Ramadan. It is a time to renew the bonds of our Ummah – through Zakat and Sadaqah and reach as many people as possible.
The Prophet (saw) said,
- “None of you (truly) believes until he loves for his brother that which he loves for himself”.
- “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity”.
